Business Growth & Operational Transformation
- Joined a single transport business with a small filling station and no formalised operational systems, compliance frameworks, or performance management infrastructure in place.
- Designed and implemented Invesstock Managed Solutions — a proprietary, in-house operational management system built from scratch to integrate and oversee all three business entities within a single operational framework, covering fleet, depot, and mine operations concurrently.
- The introduction of structured KPI frameworks, compliance programmes, and the Invesstock Managed Solutions system directly contributed to measurable business growth: the filling station scaled into a fully compliant diesel depot, the manganese mine was subsequently acquired, the tanker fleet doubled to 200 units, and overall business turnover increased significantly across the tenure period.
- Driver attrition reduced materially following implementation of structured induction programmes, driver training initiatives, and performance management frameworks.
- Mine safety incidents maintained a near-zero scoring record throughout the full operational period — reflecting the effectiveness of hazard management, inspection, and audit systems implemented.
- Diesel pricing compliance and cost index alignment maintained continuously, with zero pricing audit failures recorded across the depot's COD sales model.
Systems, Technology & Compliance Infrastructure
- Designed and built Invesstock Managed Solutions from the ground up — a bespoke in-house operational management system integrating oversight across all three business entities without reliance on external consultants or off-the-shelf frameworks.
- Developed a proprietary internal audit and compliance management system incorporating weekly operational checks across all three sites — proactively surfacing gaps, assigning corrective actions, and maintaining continuous audit-readiness at all times.
- Designed and implemented a KPI monitoring programme across all operational sites — tracking performance metrics, identifying variances, and generating structured performance reporting for the Director at every month-end cycle.
- Administered all financial management and accounting through Xero — covering invoicing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes across the full business.
- Managed two distinct month-end billing cycles for the tanker fleet operation — auditing and signing off all cycle statements and ensuring financial reporting was accurate and board-ready.
Operational Management — Three-Site Monthly Cadence
Executive Office & Chief of Staff Functions
- Served as the Founder's primary operational delegate and executive gatekeeper — translating strategic direction into executable plans and maintaining full operational integrity across the business in the Founder's absence.
- Compiled and presented monthly operational performance reports to the Director incorporating variance analysis, risk flags, and recommended corrective actions across all three entities — providing a complete, data-driven view of business performance at every cycle.
- Served as the central organisational coordination point across all three business entities — ensuring consistent information flow, cross-site alignment, and accountability between the mine, depot, and fleet teams and the executive, without a formal management hierarchy beneath the Founder.
- Managed the Founder's schedule, priorities, board communications, and executive correspondence — attending and minuting all board and executive meetings and managing all follow-through on decisions made.
- Held weekly off-site strategic sessions with the Founder — contributing to business development, operational planning, and growth strategy across the full tenure period.
- Handled commercially sensitive information, legal matters, and compliance documentation with full discretion and confidentiality — managing the intersection of legal, operational, and compliance risk across all three entities with complete integrity.
Legal Documentation, Investigations & Case Preparation
- Managed end-to-end preparation and organisation of legal documentation across all three businesses — including formal rebuttals, dispute responses, investigative reports, and court preparation materials — ensuring all submissions met professional, factual, and regulatory standards.
- Compiled comprehensive structured case files for dispute resolution and litigation support, incorporating supporting documentation, chronological timelines, evidence records, and correspondence trails — enabling legal counsel to engage with fully prepared, audit-ready materials from the outset.
- Conducted insurance-related investigations independently — gathering and verifying witness statements, incident reports, and operational records for claims assessment and liability analysis.
- Drafted formal written responses to operational and contractual disputes on behalf of the business, applying regulatory awareness, factual rigour, and executive-level communication standards throughout.
- Functioned as the primary interface between the business and its legal advisors across all active matters — covering CCMA proceedings, commercial disputes, insurance claims, and compliance investigations.
Human Resources & People Management
- Owned full HR infrastructure independently — payroll administration, employment contracts, disciplinary procedures, CCMA representation, leave management, and all labour disputes.
- Implemented structured driver induction, training, and safety programmes that measurably reduced driver attrition and improved safety and performance KPIs across the fleet operation.
- Managed PPE supply, workforce compliance, and performance management across drivers, depot staff, and mine workers simultaneously.
Reason for Transition
Following nine years of building and scaling a multi-site operational infrastructure from the ground up, a deliberate decision was made to return to a remote-first working environment — which represents the majority of Ameera's earlier career and the environment in which she performs at her highest level. A structured three-month handover was completed with her successor prior to departure. Available for new remote employment immediately.
